I love espadrilles. I think that they are the epitome of summer chic and are incredibly easy-to-wear and go with just about everything in my summer wardrobe. Now, what I’m confused about is that this inexpensive Spanish summer shoe, which can be found for a couple of Euros all across continental markets, is being sold for ridiculous prices in England by various fashion brands/shops. For instance these Jaeger espadrilles are £90. I could travel to a Spanish market in person and purchase a pair of espadrilles for less than this.
