The 2010 CFDA Awards (Council of Fashion Designers of America), aka the style Oscars, were presented in New York on Tuesday evening. The fashion pack was out in force last night, and the awards were attended by Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Alexa Chung, the Olsen twins, Lara Stone, Marc Jacobs and Iman to name but a few. Marc Jacobs came away with the award for womenswear designer of the year and David Neville & Marcus Wainwright took home the menswear designer of the year award for Rag & Bone. Here are a few of my favourite outfits, it really was almost impossible to narrow it down.

Alexa Chung. Working nude well and top half is beautiful; I just want to cut the dress by a foot at the bottom. Awkward length.

I always love Dakota Fanning's fashion choices. She wears dresses that are not only fashionable and elegant but age-appropriate as well. :)
