One of my favourite performers at the moment is Janelle Monáe, not only does she produce great music but also has incredible style. You may have heard her with Outcast’s Big Boi recently with the track ‘Tightrope’ (below).
I caught Janelle Monáe recently at Hoxton Bar and Grill and she just blew everyone away with her electric performance.
However, it’s her style that I love more than anything. Monáe manages to work the androgynous look so well and in so many different forms, with masculine tux jackets, crisp white shirts, cravats and brogues.
