London Fashion Week Highlights

With Paris Fashion Week done and dusted, it marks the end of the S/S 11 international fashion weeks. From the hundreds of shows we have seen several strong trends emerge from stripes to seventies, prints to neon brights.

I attended London Fashion Week this year and it is the home of the young, daring, and exciting designer, and we saw that with neon brights from Christopher Kane, a seventies retro collection from House of Holland and an interior inspired show from Mary Katrantzou.

Mary Katrantzou interior inspired, S/S 11.

It’s hard to pick my favourite show of the week but amongst my highlights were Mary Katrantzou’s lampshade skirt, Holly Fulton’s geometric prints, ISSA’s jewel colours, Julien Macdonald’s super-sexy sheer dresses and Erdem’s incredible al fresco show space, making it a fantastic week!
