Today is my birthday!
Despite getting a year older
(which obviously saddens me greatly),
I still relish the prospect of a fortnight's
worth of celebrations and self-bought treats.
I have celebrated in a perfectly gastronomic way today,
with the three c's: cappuccino, croissants, and cupcakes.
If only every day were like this...
