Lovebox Sunday

Lovebox was incredible this year, we had a cloudless sky, an electric atmosphere and fantastic performances. New Young Pony Club showed us why they are king of nu rave, We Have Band gave a stellar performance channeling Goldfrapp and CSS, Hot Chip set the crowd alight to 'One Night Stand' (a personal fave) and Grace Jones closed the night in the usual shocking fashion with a multitude of capes and headpieces whilst wearing a corset and G-string. All in all a fantastic day of sun, cider and sequins galore - the uniform of Grace Jones fans.

Lovebox Sunday

I have just purchased my tickets for Lovebox on the Sunday, and I cannot wait! There are many amazing bands and artists playing including Grace Jones, Hot Chip and New Y0ung Pony Club.

I am really excited about seeing the legend that is Grace Jones (not Grace Kelly as my boyf keeps on saying) perform, partly due to her reputation as a fantastic, unpredictable and entertaining performer, and partly due to the fantastic article I read about her in The Guardian weeks ago which you can read here. A summer of festivals here I come!
