When you’re offered delicious home-cooked healthy meals and snacks to be delivered to your doorstep with the promise of increasing you energy, making your skin glow and hair shine, oh and Gwynnie and her glossy pals at Goop are also in on it, you’d be a fool to turn it down.

Well this was the situation that I was in recently when the next big thing in healthy eating The Detox Kitchen came (literally) knocking on my office door with everything I could possibly need for day.

The Detox Kitchen provides deliciously nutritious food (three meals per day plus snacks) that helps to increase your energy levels, assist with weight loss and help reduce stress and bloating. The food truly is delicious and you can choose between a protein (1500 calories per day) and vegan (1200 calories per day) option.

I opted for the protein menu, (the beetroot and apple juice, and bean stew were particular highlights) and had to hide it at the back of the fridge to stop my boyfriend’s curiosity from getting the better of him.

The menu is perfect for those wanting to maintain a healthy lifestyle, kick start a detox or in preparation for a holiday. Detox meals start from £29.99 per day.
