Acne has teamed up with William Wegman to present the charming and rather eccentric The Complete William Wegman Portfolio.
What I love about the outcome is the humour and intelligence of the photos (and the cool, deadpan and elegant expression of the dog). It is something that I would love to see more of in fashion and I applaud Acne for their artistic outlook.
I was also drawn to the portfolio as the Weimaraner dog reminded me of the one that used to teach children how to count on Sesame Street. After reading up on William Wegmar, it seems that it actually was his former dog Fay Ray (who succeeded his dog Man Ray, of course) that made a special guest appearance on the children’s programming. How poetic.
