Buenos Aires

I have reached my highly anticipated destination of Buenos Aires and it has not let me down. It is an incredible city great for atmospheric nights out, quaint antiques shops, delicious Argentine steaks and not to mention beaufitul Latin boys. I am enjoying my stay so much that I am extended it by several weeks so roll on the fiestas!!! See below for some Argentine delights including my proud new purchase (the leather bag), a charming antiques shop that I stumbled across in San Telmo - I wish that I lived here so that I could decorate my house with everything in sight - and the wall hangings of a rustic cafe selling the most yummy choripan (chorizo sandwiches for those out of the South American loop).

Bearing Gifts from Buenos Aires

The boyfriend has returned from his travels in Argentina at last; his long-awaited arrival was made even sweeter by the fact that he came bearing gifts! The gift in question was a beautiful dark brown handbag from Buenos Aires (seen below), with the softest leather imaginable. Needless to say that it is my new favourite item and my current handbag, which has been my faithful companion since my university days, has been made redundant. It is a great size for piling everything in – which I love to do – and is large enough to also act as an over-night bag, perfect!
