Peter Pilotto Resort 2012

I recently visited Starworks PR HQ to view the Peter Pilotto Resort 2012 collection.

Other collections were on show from Roksanda to Jonathan Saunders,

however this was definitely my favourite.

The collection is so uplifting to look at whilst remaining wearable.

I love the bright, bold colours and the use of print

that the label has become famed for.

My personal favourite: the double-breasted blazer.

I can't wait to see what Peter Pilotto, and handsome design partner,

Christopher de Vos have in store for us at next month's LFW.

After the months of preparation for London Fashion Week, it finally arrived in Somerset House this September and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

Here is a round-up of London Fashion Week, apologies that it has taken so long to get this posted; it was delayed by a week’s holiday after LFW for muchos relaxation and recuperation.

So, I spent the morning of day one at Somerset House checking out the NEWGEN exhibition which was full to the brim with exciting young designers. The highlights for me were Peter Pilotto, David Koma, Holly Fulton, Mary Katrantzou and Dominic Jones.

Estethica was then next on my exhibition list, and there were such a great eclectic mix of designers. My favourites were Angel Jackson and Goodone.Click on links to read my previous posts.

The Thigh’s the Limit

The thigh-high boot is set to be everywhere this season after being all over the catwalks from Paul & Joe to Peter Pilotto; it is listed in fashion pages as being one of the must-have trends of the coming A/W 09 season.

Thigh-high boots, last seen on the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Elizabeth Hurley, are notoriously difficult to wear, looking slightly too much for day-wear and a little, how should I put this…like a hooker at night. Those that seem to pull this off are few and far between leaving the rest of us left looking like WAGs or eurotrash socialites. I fear that this trend has little longevity and is a slighty over-the-top…
